Stylistically inspired by the artist Alvaro Tapia this personal project was designed for my wife. At the time she was a little obsessed with Conor Oberst, so using his lyrics from the song Milk Thistle I created this portrait of her in Photoshop.
For this poster I drew inspiration from a few sources. Firstly Futura's geometric properties inspired the low poly digital aesthetic, with the composition and content being based on art nouveau poster designs. My main goal was to create a poster using mostly geometric shapes with a subtle contrast of photography which can be seen underneath the main figure.
